I've played in some pretty high level games and in tournaments in US and other countries. Never has losing a game helped me play better and win the next one. NEVER!
I say total bullshit. I cannot stand that defeatist type of attitude. You can learn just has much from hard fought wins as you can from losses. The people who think you need to lose are people who never played a sport at a high level and weren't true competitors. F losing. As a player I never want to lose. Losing a game on Feb 21 isn't going to help me win a game in April. Like I said. Bullshit!
To put it simply Chicago is a hotbed for basketball talent and few work that town like Coach Cal. Illinois picks right guy it would hurt our recruiting there to a certain point. They pick the wrong guy? Well we keep kicking ass in Chicago.
Yes Jones does love UK. I'll never deny him that. He may not know what the hell he is talking about when it comes to sports 90+% of the time and recruiting 100% of the time but he does love UK.
Nope I'm not. I tweeted before this season ever started that this team was going to be special and refuse to lose because they have Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and the rest of the country doesn't. Mike just doesn't know how to lose. Its not in his DNA.
